Linda turned to look at him, her eyes not meeting his. "No big deal," she said softly. She couldn't *believe* she had been writing this where just anyone could see her. Of course, she hadn't realized he was around. She shrugged his hand off of her shoulder and walked toward the door.

"Wait a minute," Rick called after her. Linda turned slowly. Rick grinned at her, an engaging grin that caught Linda's attention. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Rick Carey, first year graduate student."

Linda smiled, a slow smile that lit her face. "I'm Linda Thorpe, junior." She brushed a lock of hair back from her eyes, and as she moved Rick followed the motion of her body with his eyes. It was a rather nice body, even concealed as it was in an oversize t-shirt and baggy shorts. She lowered her eyes from his face again, and turned to leave.
